RETURNS

We will gladly exchange and/or provide store credit for all unworn full priced items, excluding accessories, bodysuits and bralettes. All home decor purchases are final sale. 

No restock fees.

We have to be notified of your intent to exchange merchandise within 24-48 hours of your receipt of the order via contact@traceofthread.com 
Merchandise must be received by Trace of Thread within 14 days of purchase date in the United States and 20 days outside the United States. Any items posted after this timeframe may be denied.

To be eligible for an exchange, items must be returned in their original condition including tags and care labels and must include a proof of purchase or the original receipt that was provided at the time of purchase.

Once Trace of Thread has received your returned package, all returned items will be inspected before store credit is issued.

Trace of Thread reserves the right to deny a return if items are returned used, soiled, worn or damaged in any way or have any form of excessive hair, perfumes or scents on the fabric. These soiled or damaged items will be returned to sender. You will be notified via email if your returned item is not suitable for a refund.
Return Shipping is at the cost of the customer and is non-refundable.

We recommend returning items through trackable mail, as Trace of Thread cannot issue store credit on items that are not received. We also recommend that customers ask for proof of postage at the time of posting returned items.

Please allow 7-14 business days for store credit to be processed from the date that the returned item is received by Trace of Thread. You will be notified once the transaction has been processed via the email address that the order was placed with. 

Any issues that may arise with refunds to the original account due to Trace of Thread not being notified are completely out of our control and Trace of Thread will not be held accountable.

 Pre-orders: Return of merchandise purchased with store credit will be refunded via store credit.

Exchanges: Due to new arrivals and our products selling out, we cannot guarantee an exchange. If you require a replacement size, color or alternative item(s), send us an e-mail at contact@traceofthread.com within 24-48 hours of receipt and we will verify product availability and walk you through the process of returning and placing a new order. Exchange Shipping is at the cost of the customer and is non-refundable.

Final Sale Items: All Final Sale Items cannot be returned for store credit or exchange, unless the item received is faulty or your order was fulfilled incorrectly.
Due to sanitary reasons, we do not accept returns on accessories, bodysuits and bralettes.

Received the wrong order or a faulty item? If you were shipped the wrong order or a faulty item, please notify us immediately by contacting our Customer Care team at contact@traceofthread.com and quoting the order number and fault or incorrect item. We will send you the correct item upon receipt of proof that you have sent back the wrong or faulty item.

Additional Info: Please note that the goods are your responsibility until they are returned to Trace of Thread. Trace of Thread will not issue store credit on item(s) that are not received or are lost in transit. Shipping is non-refundable except in cases where Trace of Thread may have made an error.
